This week we set off on what we thought would be a fairly standard 2-3 hour hike. It turned into an epic adventure climbing along a narrow ridge in what felt like a set from Lord of the Rings. The views were definitely worth it though! And then, just as we decided to turn back and face a steep descent, the heavens opened and our trail turned into a muddy waterfall. Lovely.
