How did we turn our sailing yacht into a canal boat for our journey through the french canals?
This week we demonstrate the process of preparing our Southerly 38 for the french canals. We had to build a frame for transporting the mast, take down the boom, sails and wind generator, and make everything ready for unstepping the mast on the Mediterranean side of France, in preparation for entering the Canal du Midi.
